Frequently Asked Questions

The classroom portion is three hours. This may vary depending on questions and discussion based on student needs.

Classes are generally on Saturdays at 9:00am. For group classes or special circumstances, we have flexible scheduling and we can work with you.

We take cash, VENMO, or PAYPAL. 

If you have little or experience with firearms, we strongly recommend the Pistol Basics course.  Note, if you take the Pistol Basics course, your Permit to Carry course will be discounted to $45.

Just your ID.  If you have your own firearm and range gear, you are welcome to bring it. If you don't, we are happy to provide it. There is no cost to use our firearms or range gear.

If you have a class of 8 or more registered, have a safe and legal place for the live fire exercise, you may be able to make arrangements with our instructors to come to you!

Once you have taken our training, we are available to you for questions.   For new gun owners, we are happy to help you find your first firearm purchase.  Any past student is welcome to come to our open shoots, and if requested, any additional range instruction.  We just ask that you bring your own ammo and cover your own range fees. Other than that, we do not charge  for those services - we want to see you strive!

If you have a spouse, friend, other associate who is not sure if having a permit to carry is for them, or if they are not comfortable with you having one, they welcome to sit in the class so that they may see what is covered and the value of it. If, at the end of class, they decide to move forward with their Permit, they may then take part in the range portion and earn their certificate!
